Phone messaging
SMS Terms
These terms apply if NearVance offers phone verification, security alerts, or other transactional text messages. SMS functionality remains provider- and rollout-dependent.
Effective and last updated: September 6, 2026
01Program scope
When enabled, NearVance may send one-time verification codes, authentication notices, security alerts, or service messages you specifically request. Enrollment in transactional SMS is not enrollment in marketing messages.
02Consent and eligibility
By entering a mobile number and requesting a message, you confirm that you are authorized to use that number and consent to receive the requested transactional text. Consent is not a condition of purchasing NearVance.
03Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies based on the actions you request and account security events. Message and data rates may apply under your carrier plan. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
04Stopping messages and getting help
Where automated SMS is active, reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help when the message supports those commands. Opting out can prevent phone-based verification or alerts. You can also contact hello@nearvance.com.
NearVance may still use other channels for required account, security, billing, or legal notices where permitted.
05Privacy and changes
Phone numbers and message metadata are handled according to the Privacy Policy. We may change or discontinue SMS features, update these terms, or use a different approved provider after appropriate notice.
